GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:   The position will be primarily responsible for the overall management and direction of the Board of Medical Licensure and Discipline. The position will also provide clinical (physician) guidance and/or expertise to the Associate Director of the  Division of Customer Services, as well as the Director of Health in policy and strategic matters concerning, but not necessarily limited to, medical management and clinical issues within the state.  The areas in which this position will serve are critical to the mission of the Department of Health to protect the safe delivery of healthcare to the citizenry.
