A Masters degree in Public Health or Epidemiology; familiarity with principles of oral health care as it relates to HIV/AIDS; a minimum of five years' experience in the management of grant funded programs and ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements; prior supervisory experience; at least five years of experience in developing and facilitating educational trainings; experience in negotiating medical and dental continuing education accreditation; experience in continuous quality improvement approaches and also monitoring of implementation; experience in building collaborations with a variety of stakeholders, including those across state lines; experience in public speaking; proficiency in MS Office programs, including, but not limited to: MS Access, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word, MS SharePoint, and Teams; experience in creating and maintaining databases and using them for a variety of tracking and monitoring purposes; at least five years of experience providing outreach and technical assistance to health and human service providers.
The Program Manager is located in the Office of the Medical Director (OMD), and serves as a key member of OMD in the Central New York (CNY) Region. Responsibilities will include program oversight for the Northeast Caribbean AETC Oral Health Initiative with Columbia University Oral Health Initiative; program oversight for the NY Links Program in the CNY Region; program evaluation for the New York State Quality of Care (QOC) Initiative in the CNY region; oversight and coordination for AIDS Institute Ending the Epidemic (ETE) activities in the CNY Region; representing the OMD, the AI Center for Program Development, Implementation, Research and Evaluation (CPDIRE), and the AIDS Institute; serving as liaison with the DOH Central New York Regional Office (CNYRO); other related duties as assigned.
