This position supports the California Department of Public Health’s (CDPH) mission and strategic plan by managing the Reproductive Freedom and Abortion Access Unit (RFAA Unit). The RFAA Unit focuses on reducing health disparities related to reproductive health and abortion access. The Health Program Manager I (HPM I) oversees the RFAA unit, including program design and reporting. Provides technical assistance, outreach and education to various health disciplines and community agencies to coordinate programs and services appropriately.
The incumbent works under the direction of the Health Program Manager II - Chief of the Gender Health Equity Section in the Office of Health Equity.
