*PENDING HRD APPROVAL* The incumbent works under the general direction of the Climate Change and Health Unit Chief, in the Environmental Health Investigations Branch (EHIB). The Research Scientist III (RS III) develops the surveillance methodology for wildfire-related air pollution illness and conducts environmental health epidemiologic research analyses of priority public health impacts related to air pollution and climate change-associated health outcomes. The incumbent identifies sources of health and exposure data, develops processes for capturing, managing, and analyzing data, and develops and disseminates findings in reports, publications, and presentations. The RS III acts as a subject matter expert, providing consultation
