Salary Range: $44,923 - $66,314 Description: This position primarily will coordinate response efforts by planning,exercising, implementing, and evaluating plans as they relate to public health emergencies including disease outbreaks. Typical, but not all inclusive public health emergencies, are natural disasters such as hurricanes and infectious disease outbreaks like COVID or Influenza. The candidate will serve as a liaison between the health department and other response partners such as emergency management, law enforcement, schools, businesses, and other regional stakeholders. A second component of the position is to assist with health promotion activities, such as provision of health education to the public and special populations.
