This recruitment will be used to fill one full-time, permanent and one full-time project Microbiologist 1 positions located within the Division of Disease Control & Health Statistics’ Public Health Laboratory (PHL).  The project position is currently funded through June 30, 2023.   Reporting to the Microbiologist 4, these Microbiologist 1 positions are bench level microbiologists working primarily in the Enteric Bacteriology, Food & Shellfish Bacteriology, and Parasitology laboratories within the Microbiology section.    These positions are required to have an on-site presence in order to perform the main scope of duties, functions and responsibilities of the positions supporting the mission of protecting pub
