Serves as Director of the Office of Communications and Media Relations.  Provides effective communication with internal and external audiences that increase awareness of TDH programs, services and responsibilities. Assists the department to achieve measurable improvements in the health of people in Tennessee.  Directs communication efforts through a collaborative process involving the Commissioner, Executive Leadership Team, Governor’s Office, TDH communication team and other key TDH members and, when necessary, external collaborative partners including PIOs from Metro Health Departments and from other departments within state government.
