Summary: The Director, Public Health Data Modernization & Informatics develops, responds to and advises constituents on sound public health informatics policy and practices at the state and federal levels. The Director assists members and the ASTHO senior management team in fulfilling ASTHO strategic priorities, achieving the goals of relevant ASTHO policy committees, and leading and managing activities identified in cooperative agreements and external grants. The Director works with public health professionals on issues related, but not limited, to public health data system and technology modernization, health information exchange, data equity, and pandemic-ready systems.
