Overview The CDC Foundation seeks candidates for a Senior Data Manager to support two major surveillance systems – the Pregnancy Mortality Surveillance System (PMSS) and the Maternal Mortality Review Information Application (MMRIA) – that are key to CDC’s Data Modernization and Health Equity efforts, to DRH’s strategic area of focus on maternal mortality, and to a CDC Winnable Battle.  In addition to managing the PMSS and MMRIA, the Maternal Mortality Prevention Team currently (2021) receives vital records data (birth, fetal death, and death records) daily through the National Association of Public Health Statistics (NAPHSIS) State and Territorial Exchange of Vital Events (STEVE) System from 12 states, and by 2024 will receive vital re
