Bloodworks Northwest and the University of Washington (UW) announces the availability of a physician position specializing in transfusion medicine. The Assistant Medical Director will provide assistance to the Medical Director in coverage of Immunohematology Reference Laboratory, Red Cell genomics, Transfusion Service and Donor Testing laboratories. The Assistant Medical Director will provide education and mentoring to trainees rotating to Bloodworks Northwest, participate in shared transfusion medicine didactics at UWMC, and actively assist with rotation structure and content for the Transfusion medicine fellowship.
