The Infection Prevention and Control Nurse is a professional registered nurse who is accountable for the multiple facets of the VAPSHCS Infection Program. The nurse utilizes effective prevention and control activities that are specific to the practice setting, the population served and the continuum of care. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
