Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) is looking for a

MANAGER HEALTH ECONOMICS AND OUTCOMES RESEARCH (HEOR) (M/ F/ D) based in Wiesbaden, Germany. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Collaborate within the Market Access Team and other functional areas (across Germany and HQ) and provide key Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) into Abbott's initiatives 
• Formulate the unmet need and requirements to access stakeholders (e.g. payers, hospital management, KVs and patients) with respect to Abbott's solutions for diabetes patients 
• Develop messages and tools to communicate the value of Abbott's solutions to market access- and reimbursement stakeholders through the use of information such as competitive clinical data, economic data and real-world evidence (RWE)  
• Define payer and HTA relevant evidence (and other) requirements to achieve/ expand access
• Monitor and analyze market developments in the field of payer requirements, digital opportunities and other strategic areas that are expected to play an important role in the health care system of the future
• Monitor and analyze the reimbursement landscape in the field of Diabetes and identify opportunities for reimbursement expansion/protection

QUALIFICATION:

• Advanced academic degree (i.e. Master or Diploma) in health economics, public health, epidemiology, biology, pharmacy or medicine 
• First working experience in Industry (Diagnostic, MedTech, Pharmaceutical), healthcare consulting or with payers
• First HEOR and/ or HTA experience is a plus 
• Ability to effectively work and communicate across functions and levels 
• Analytical competencies to structure complex issues, synthesize key points and communicate and present in an easy to understand manner 
• Strategic thinking, organization and planning skills 
• Fluent in German and English
