Research Assistant (Program Coordinator) Strategies and Tools for Overdose Prevention (STOP) Unit
Essential Functions: The WSU Center for Urban Studies aims to stop overdose deaths and reduce other harm related to the opioid crisis, while fostering civic engagement as a key strategy for addressing critical community challenges in the Detroit area. We are seeking a motivated individual to lead a team of Overdose Rescue Trainers. The Program Coordinator will provide direction and support to this team of volunteer service members who teach people in the community how to provide life-saving aid during an opioid overdose emergency.
