The School of Criminal Justice invites applications for a full-time, fixed-term assistant professor position. Duties include teaching eight courses at the graduate level (master’s degree level) offered in the online/virtual format. These courses will focus extensively on public health, public safety, and public-private partnerships involving criminal justice and the health/safety professions. Additionally, the position requires the individual to actively pursue publications or related research in this area.

Doctorate -Criminal Justice/Crimiology or related
The position requires a Doctorate Degree in Criminal Justice/Criminology or related Social Science Discipline/Field, though degrees in public health or human medicine will also be considered. . Candidates must have a demonstrated record of teaching and research excellence and/or significant work experience in areas related to teaching assignment (e.g., public health, public safety initiatives, policing, courts, corrections). Candidates must have the ability to teach at the graduate level.
Preference will be given to applicants with experience in teaching in online format.
