AGA’s Operations and Engineering Team works with industry stakeholders and AGA members to understand and implement operational practices which enhance safety, share learnings, identify new research and development opportunities, and provide input in developing pipeline safety regulations. AGA’s technical committees meet twice a year to understand and share new processes, practices, and challenges. AGA’s committees also develop technical papers to provide AGA’s members with guidance on managing operational activities.
As a member of the Operations and Engineering team, the Technical Writer has the opportunity to work closely with industry experts to not only learn how integral Natural Gas is in the dynamic energy industry, but also to develop vital research into easy-to-consume resources that can be used to inform industry practices, safety procedures, and future research. The Writer will work across the Association on projects with engineers, economists, and analysts.
