Position Summary:

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Public Health Representative III for the Department of Medicine – Infectious Diseases within the New Jersey Medical School. Under direction of the Program Manager, the Public Health Representative III participates in the administration of a comprehensive program and/or does field work/participant facing activities involved in providing clinical trial and department support.

Among the key duties of this position are the following:

• Does the office and/or field work required to promote the objectives of the department.
• Conducts protocol specific activities as delegated to assist with implementation and conduct of clinical trials.
• Works with department in facilitating program activities related to clinical trial recruitment, enrollment and retention.
• Assists with data and quality management activities.
• Compiles data and provides reports on clinical trial activities as requested.
• Provides ongoing input, information and materials (as requested) to support internal and external communication efforts about programming and opportunities at the IDP and NJMS CRC specifically.
• Fosters a cohesive, innovative team environment through open and clear communication and collaboration.

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field plus one (1) year of professional experience in a health or social service related program.
• Must have background and/or experience in social marketing/media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Wordpress) as well as data/analytical software (RedCap, iMedidata, etc).
• Demonstrated experience working within diverse communities of color, LGBTQ communities and venues.
• Equivalent experience, education and/or training may be substituted for the education requirements.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual Spanish.
