In this position, you will be part of TASC’s agency infrastructure, whose departments collectively assure the overall quality, fiscal responsibility, effectiveness, and impact of TASC’s work, and work to advance our mission to build a healthier, safer, and more just society.

The Position

This position is responsible for leadership, oversight, and coordination of TASC’s agency-wide policy and advocacy activities to further the identified interests, goals, and livelihood of clients and the agency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides strategic leadership for TASC’s agency-wide policy and advocacy activities, including the development and initiation of proactive policy initiatives and advocacy campaigns in coordination with Executive Staff and consultants.
• Provides material support for TASC’s agency-wide policy and advocacy activities, including fact sheets, policy papers, testimony, presentations, talking points, research briefs, articles, proposals, and other materials as needed.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on policies with potential for impact on the agency and clients.
• Coordinates agency-wide policy and advocacy activities with and among leadership and line staff, including communications with policymakers, government officials, external stakeholders, partners in treatment or related fields, community members, etc.
• Develops and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, partners, and policymakers to further identified agency and client goals.
• Represents the agency at external policy meetings, trainings, and conferences.
• Manages and coordinate various additional policy projects.
