Position Description: The Clinical Service Practitioner provides diagnosis, assessment, intervention and case management support to individuals, groups, children and/or families with complex health, psychosocial, or economic problems Cases may frequently involve assisting clients with emergency situations and assessment of risk, safety and biopsychosocial welfare. Work requires developing and implementing treatment and care plans and monitoring progress toward such goals. Incumbents provide support, counseling and referrals to promote client self-efficacy. Work is characterized by individual and group dynamics and circumstances in the investigation, assessment and determination of well-being. Work is performed under the general direction of a clinical supervisor who is available to review work and assist with treatment and care plan approaches. However, in most instances the Clinical Service Practitioner must be able to diffuse crisis situations and handle preliminary assessments independently. This position will require some work to be performed in the field under a variety of working conditions and in the client's home or other location. Typical Activities Job Summary: The Family Attachment Interventions Through Healing Solutions (FAITHS) Throughcare Program will recruit, train, and administrate Graduate-Level interns in salient Social and Behavioral Science fields to provide in-custody and out-of-custody psychotherapeutic interventions to justice-involved individuals and their families. Typical Duties: Minimum Qualifications Education: A Master's degree from an accredited institution in behavioral science, human services, social work, counseling, psychology, public health administration, business/public administration, hospital administration, or closely related field of study by June 1, 2021. Experience: Pre-Licensed as an LMFT or LCSW and minimum of 1 year of related experience.
