Job Duties: Teaching (55%), administrative (25%), research (15%), and service (5%). Serve as the Program Director for several SLUCOR (SLU Center for Health Outcomes Research) programs, including SLUCOR MS in Health Outcomes Research and Evaluation Sciences program, Post-Baccalaureate in Health Outcomes Research, and MS in Health Data Science. More specifically: (1) Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses (55%), including ORES 2310: Introduction to Clinical Medicine, ORES 2320: Interprofessional Health Outcomes, ORES 5430: Health Measurement, ORES 5980; HDS 5960: Capstone Experience; (2) Administrative (25%), including student recruitment, admission, retention, and advising (15%), curricular and program development and assessment (8%), maintain course schedule and assign faculty (2%); (3) Research (15%), including investigator-initiated research (5%), consult and collaborate with SLU faculty on their projects (5%), survey design and analysis, statistical analysis, and programming (5%); and (4) Service (5%), including participation on committees within SLUCOR and at the university. Requirements: Ph.D. in Public Health Studies or related field (social science with an emphasis on population level statistics) and Masters of Public Health (foreign equivalents acceptable); 12 months experience teaching undergraduate or graduate students; ability to conduct high quality research and effective teaching; skilled in data management and survey methods (design, development, testing, and analysis); experience with SPSS statistical software; experience, skills, and ability can be from schooling.
