Position Summary: Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey invites candidates to apply for a tenure-track faculty position in one or more of the following areas: Cancer survivorship, cancer symptom management, oncology care delivery, health outcomes, dissemination and implementation science, m-health, psychological/behavioral interventions for cancer patients and survivors, sun protection, physical activity and weight management interventions, translational and bioinformatics research, and system-level interventions. The candidate should have a demonstrated academic track record of publications and currently active funding. Academic rank is open and is commensurate with qualifications and experience. A joint appointment in another academic department/School will be supported, including the School of Public Health, Psychiatry, or Family Medicine. Candidates must possess a doctoral degree in psychology, public health, epidemiology, or a health-related profession with a strong publication record. Preference will be given to applicants with an established and extramurally-funded research program. Faculty are expected to support the educational goals and activities of the School, and as such will be expected to be involved in teaching activities for medical students and residents as well as targeted lectures in their area of expertise.
