Job DescriptionShelter Veterinarian Gulf Coast Humane Society is a Non-Profit facility located on the Gulf of Mexico in Corpus Christi, Texas. Founded on January 15th, 1945, we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter that houses and cares for hundreds of adoptable dogs and cats. Primary Function: Work with a team to oversee and monitor the health of shelter animals and provide veterinary expertise in accordance with the organizational policies and procedures. Perform spay/neuter surgeries daily for the public and shelter. Assist the Executive Director in establishing and maintaining all health related protocols to maximize adoptions and minimize euthanasia. Set a professional and positive example for other staff members.
