Job Description: The Systems/Dataset Administrator supports two discrete and complementary sets of activitiesâ”dataset support and infrastructure computing systems support for a large, complex health care research center in the School of Public Health.  Dataset support involves lifecycle support of core datasets used in multiple research projects by research teams in the Center. Infrastructure computing systems support involves software and hardware support of core systems which house and process data. Such data include health care utilization, functional assessments, and related, diverse data sets. Responsibilities will include the installation, deployment, maintenance, and termination of all hardware, operating systems, server products, and application software on all servers and infrastructure systems used by the Center, as directed and required. This includes deployment and maintenance of clustering and other high availability technologies, support of Windows and other operating systems as may be deployed, operational security implementation, storage management, and the support of application systems. The position is a direct report to the Centerâ™s IT Director, who designs, develops, and deploys all such processes and systems. Education and Experience
