The University of North Carolina at Greensboro School of Nursing invites applications for a Statistician/Biostatistician to assist in expansion of our doctoral program in nursing practice. The new Doctor of Nursing Practice prepares nursing administrators, nurse practitioners, and nurse anesthetists. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in the DNP program, providing consultation to faculty and students for DNP student projects (e.g., outcome determination, data collection procedures, power and sample size, data analysis), and serving as a reader of DNP project reports. This is a non-tenure track, renewable academic year faculty appointment. UNCG is a high research activity university offering 35 doctoral programs, including Psychology, Exercise and Sports Science, Public Health, Educational Measurement, Cultural and Leadership Studies, Social Work, Business, and Nursing. We have active Offices of Research Integrity, Contracts and Grants, and Sponsored Programs and Private and Public Partnerships to assist investigators. The School of Nursing houses the Center for the Health of Vulnerable Populations and the NIH/NIMHD funded TRIAD Center of Excellence in Health Disparities Research, with additional funding from NIH, HRSA, and other public and private sectors, organizations and agencies. The Piedmont Triad area is a center for healthcare industry with multiple universities and colleges, five magnet hospitals, and one of the most diverse populations in the nation.
