The Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, School of Public Health, University of Maryland, College Park (http://www.sph.umd.edu/EPIB) invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor in biostatistics. The position primarily involves teaching courses along with departmental related duties/services. Successful candidates for the position are expected to teach biostatistics courses to undergraduate and graduate students at fundamental and intermediate levels, mentor students, and engage in university and professional service. Effective interpersonal, communication and collaborative skills are essential. Candidates are also expected to teach epidemiology courses at the introduction level.

Qualified candidates should possess a doctoral degree in biostatistics or a closely related public health field. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated the ability to teach undergraduate and graduate level biostatistics courses and mentor students.
