Job Summary Under general supervision, support the Accounting Supervisor of the Foundation by processing full cycle Accounts Payable, Cash Receipts, and General Ledger entry. The Sr Accounting Tech will also be responsible for Foundation credit card verification, and assist with generating 1099s and annual financial audits. The Sr Accounting Tech will also be responsible for generating reports from the Foundation Donor Database as needed to conduct regular tasks and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities 1. Process full cycle Accounts Payable on a weekly basis 2. Process Foundation receipts, inclusive of grant activity, cash, and non-grant pledges (Accounts Receivable)3. Generate monthly financial reports for appropriate fund managers 4. Post general ledger entries as directed, including as relates to Foundation endowment activity 5. Conduct monthly reconciliations between finance and donor, grant, and special event databases6. Reconcile credit card activity on a quarterly basis7. Work with Foundation credit card holders to ensure all receipts for transactions are received to reconcile against credit card statements on a monthly basis 8. Create and disseminate invoices for all pledges9. Process check runs and wire transfer payments to all vendors 10. Record manual check activity11. Maintain digital and hardcopy financial records12. Assist in the maintenance of account codes13. Assist Accounting Supervisor with annual processing of 1099s 14. Assist Accounting Supervisor with annual financial audit of the Foundation 15. Assist with Foundation events as needed. 16. Ensure prompt, professional communication with internal Foundation fund managers as well as external vendors, on all matters relating to their financial business with the Foundation.17. Other duties as assigned.

Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form with donors, patients, families and internal and external providers. Computers and Technology1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.2. Working knowledge of FP&A systems or general accounting, double-entry software (QuickBooks Enterprise or Abila MIP preferred).
Education * High School Diploma or GED (Required) Five years of bookkeeping and database reporting experience required.
