Join our acclaimed Biostatistics and Research Design Center, part of the Institutional Centers for Clinical and Translational Research and discover how your talents can change lives. This Center is home to a group of 15-20 faculty and Master's statisticians with extensive involvement and long experience in the hospital's program of pediatric research. The Biostatistician III/ masters level candidate will consult and collaborate with investigators on the design, conduct, analysis and reporting of research projects which may include laboratory, interventional and observational studies. The Biostatistician III/ will be responsible for: * Developing study design and analysis plans, including sample size calculations and randomization schemes * Statistical analysis of research studies * Preparing organized and clear summarizes of analysis results * Writing statistical methods sections for reports and manuscripts * Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure successful completion of statistical deliverables Requirements: -
Master's degree in biostatistics or statistics. Master's degree in other quantitative fields (eg. Epidemiology, economics, data sciences) can be considered depending on course work and experience. -
6 years of experience -
Proficiency in a statistical programming package such as SAS, R or Stata -
Knowledge of longitudinal methods and clinical trials methodology is a plus. -
Strong skills in data analysis and the effective presentation of results -
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
