| Location: Inver Grove Heights, MN Full/Part Time: Part Time Employment Condition: Unlimited Job Description: This position exists to provide leadership and management of the Inver Hills MANE Nursing Program/Nursing Assistant Program faculty and staff. This individual will work collaboratively with the Dean of Allied Health and Nursing to ensure that the Nursing Program and CNA Program meet regulatory and national accreditation standards, and will lead in collaborative planning with higher education and healthcare agency partners. This position involves significant discretion and substantial involvement in the development, interpretation and implementation of College policy. Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides guidance, support and leadership to the IHCC MANE Nursing Program and Certified Nursing Assistant Program in collaboration with the Dean of Allied Health and Nursing
Responsibility for leading assessment and Program Review of the Nursing Program.
Coordinates, implements, and maintains Nursing Program accreditation and approval
Facilitates the development and implementation of college policies and procedures for the IHCC MANE Nursing Program and CNA Program
Prepares and administers the annual and instructional budget for the Nursing Program within budget goals
Maintains professional activities and involvement such as professional competence with nursing skills and licensure; attends professional organization meetings with other educational programs/institutions, regulatory agencies, organizations locally, statewide, regionally, and nationally; participates on college committees and initiativesRequired Qualifications: Education:
Master's degree in Nursing, Nursing Administration, Nursing Education, Public Health Nursing or a nursing clinical specialty.Professional Licensure/Certification:
Eligible for licensure in the State of Minnesota as a Registered NurseType and Length of Experience:
Recent nursing experience
3-5 years of experience in administration of collegiate nursing programs
Administrative nursing experience
