Job Summary Responsible for preparation, assembly, and delivery of patient meal trays, guest trays and snacks to the bedside. Assist with meal tray set up and soiled tray removal from patient rooms and designated soiled utility closets. Interact and communicate with patients, families, and visitors in a friendly and respectful manner. Provide timely service recovery for any tray errors or missing items. General cleaning and stocking as assigned. Follows and implements HACCP guidelines. Complies with regulatory agency requirements Education 1. High school diploma or GED certificate preferred. Experience 1. No previous work-related experience is required for this occupation. 2. Food service, healthcare, or customer service experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 1. Must be able to read, write and speak English. 2. Ability to communicate effectively. 3. Ability to handle multiple priorities at one time. 4. Able to move with a sense of urgency and work in a fast-paced environment. 5. Ability to meet established timeframes for meal delivery. 6. Ability to demonstrate professional work behavior by following guidelines as established by policies and procedures. Computers and Technology 1. None required.
