Job Summary: Eastern Washington University and the College of Health Science and Public Health at Eastern Washington University invite applications for a Tenure Track position in the Department of Dental Hygiene to begin August 2021. This position will include didactic, online and clinical teaching. The Department of Dental Hygiene is housed in a state-of-the-art facility located at Eastern's Spokane Campus in Spokane, WA. The department offers the only Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in the state of Washington, an entirely web-based Master of Science in Dental Hygiene, and has a fully online BSDH degree completion program.

Responsibilities in this position include teaching and mentoring of clinical faculty. Eastern is co-located on two campuses, Spokane (home of our College of Health Science and Public Health and College of Business & Public Administration) in addition to our main campus in Cheney (20 minutes from Riverpoint), as well as additional teaching/learning centers located in other cities throughout Washington State. Other Skills and Abilities: Job Duties: % of Time: 100 Responsibility / Duty: A Faculty Activity Plan will be developed by the end of the first quarter of the selected candidates appointment, and will consist of a combination of teaching, research, service and/or release time to perform administrative duties, as negotiated and as needed to meet the business needs of the department. Additionally, the candidate selected for this position may be expected to teach face-to-face classes, hybrid or blended classes and/or online classes according to the needs of the department. Salary Information: Minimum salary is $61,967; hiring salary will be dependent on experience and qualifications.
