Learn more about the UC Office of the President DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW University of California Health (UCH) comprises six academic health centers, 20 health professional schools, a Global Health Institute and systemwide services that improve the health of patients and the University's students, faculty and employees. All of UC's hospitals are ranked among the best in California and its medical schools and health professional schools are nationally ranked in their respective areas. POSITION SUMMARY The Director of Decision Support & Analytics plays an important role in forging connections between the UC Medical Centers and Practice Groups, the UC Health Data Warehouse, the health plan administrators and the Population Health and Quality team. This role focuses on providing data and analytics that will help ensure the success of our employee health plans where UC is taking financial risk. The plans include HMO, PPO, high deductible and Medicare benefit structures. Not only does UC strive to be a world leading provider of health care services, we also aspire to be a market leader in the financing mechanism for providing those services and creating a true collaboration with the UC Health provider community. The Director of Decision Support & Analytics will work closely with the self-insured health plan team within UC Health, to forge the next generation of health plan coverage with UC employees as the research and testing vehicle to get us there.
