The Department of Medicine’s Division of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (AID) was recently awarded a three-year cooperative agreement award from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to establish a national monitoring and evaluation system for SSPs (Component 2 of CDC-RFA-PS19-1909, https://www.cdc.gov/nchhstp/funding/announcements/ps19-1909/index.html). The goals of this project are to: 1) improve, collect, and analyze available national data on SSP activities and impact; and 2) improve the ability of SSPs to self-conduct M&E activities and improve their capacity to monitor, support, and sustain their program needs.
