The University of Southern Maine seeks applicants for a full-time, soft-money funded professional position involving statewide viral hepatitis program coordination and leadership skills. Responsibilities include maintaining technical expertise in the subject area, and coordinating, designing, developing, evaluating, implementing, and overseeing programmatic interventions. Strong written and oral communication skills along with grant and budget management experience are necessary. Experience managing grants, working with healthcare providers, and coordinating interventions are required. Basic knowledge of epidemiology, statistics, outbreak response, and data management are needed. Work is performed under administrative direction. Work location will be Augusta, Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention, with travel to remote work sites around the state.
