Requisition Number: 0812852 Number of Open Positions: 1 Other Title Information: Assistant Professor, Human Environmental Sciences, RCF Organization: 217102 - Dean's Office-HES-Instruction Position Summary: The University of Alabama's College of Human Environmental Sciences is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Professor in Human Environmental Sciences starting in Fall 2021. This is a nine-month, non-tenure track, renewable contract position that will support the degree programs offered in the area of Human Environmental Sciences. The primary responsibility for the individual selected will be to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in HES, with an emphasis on coordinating the two HES core courses (HES 100 & HES 310). Ad Text: Qualified candidates for this position are expected to have a completed doctorate in one of the disciplines associated with the College of Human Environmental Sciences, or a closely related area; previous experience in program or project coordination; and a record of excellence in college teaching, both in the residential and online environments. Experience or training in other disciplines (beyond that of the terminal degree) in the College is preferred as is a background in course and instructor development.
