A full-time (100% FTE) position is open in the Institute on Community Integration (ICI) in the Community Living within Community Living and Early Intervention/ASD program areas. This research position is designed to conduct currently funded and future research on programs and services related to person-centered and positive behavior support as well as other evidence-based interventions for individuals with disabilities. Research activities will include large-scale systems work at the state and regional level as well as individual intervention work using teleoutreach as a means for interacting and delivering intervention to individuals and families. Primary duties will involve leading research programs and specific activities (e.g. research instrument design and development, data collection and management, data analysis and writing technical reports). This researcher will also need to produce manuscripts for peer-reviewed journal articles, authoring technical reports and other publications. The position will also require the ability to train organizations and individuals on positive interventions and to make presentations at state and national conferences. It is a position for which the researcher will be expected to assist with grant writing and developing new research opportunities by serving in a primary data analyst role and authoring these proposals. Preparing Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications is an essential component of this position.
