The vacancy listed below is for the Director for MCHB’s Division of State and Community Health. As a senior leader within MCHB, the incumbent will provide overall direction for the Division, which includes the Bureau’s largest investment—the Title V Maternal and Child Health Services Block Grant.  Title V is the public health system for America’s mothers, children and families.  In addition to the formula Block Grant, the Division oversees grants for Special Projects of Regional and National Significance (SPRANS) and supports technical assistance to states and jurisdictions.  Based on your eligibility, please apply to the appropriate link below. Director, Division of State and Community Health

• Oversee a multi-disciplinary staff which is located at HRSA Headquarters as well as 10 HHS Regional Offices across the country.
• Establish program goals, policies, objectives, priorities in terms of current operating experience, program progress, and health priorities in the area of maternal and child health, including children with special health care needs.
• Serve as the Director for the Division of State and Community Health and as such exercises full authority in planning, managing and directing national programs for which DSCH is responsible.
• Serve as the national voice and expert on the MCH Block Grant including the authorizing statute, regulations, policy issues, national performance measures and other issues pertaining to the implementation of the program.
