Harborview Medical Center has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time (100% FTE, 40 hours per week), variable shift, ASSISTANT NURSE MANAGER (Registered Nurse 3) to join their COVID Vaccination Clinic. The Harborview COVID Vaccination Clinic has a goal of administering up to 500 vaccinations per day, and the Assistant Nurse Managers will play a critical role overseeing site operations. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of our COVID response strategy, supporting vaccination efforts for our employees, our patients, and our local community at large. SCHEDULE The Assistant Nurse Manager will work day shifts and evening shifts, 40 hours per week. When needed, weekend shift responsibilities will be required. RESPONSIBILITIES The Assistant Nurse Manager (Registered Nurse 3) will have site-level management responsibilities at the Harborview COVID Vaccination Clinic. The Assistant Nurse Manager will oversee daily clinic operations, assign work schedules for staff, train and orient new hires, oversee employee performance, and ensure safe patient care practices. When needed, the Assistant Nurse Manager will also administer vaccines to patients and document care outcomes. The Assistant Nurse Manager will oversee a team that includes Patient Services Specialists, Registered Nurses, and Pharmacy Technicians. The Assistant Nurse Manager will also oversee medical students, nursing students, and pharmacy students completing clinical hours at our vaccination sites.
