Location: IU School of Medicine Department: IUSM - Dean's Office Campus: IU School of Medicine Indianapolis Position Announcement: Indiana University seeks a director to lead the Interprofessional Practice and Education Center, which seeks to educate professionals to improve health through high-quality, team-based care. The Interprofessional Practice and Education Center is the result of the University Clinical Affairs Council's (UCA) shared vision to address the growing need to implement, support, and evaluate interprofessional health education and practice. Key partners in this work include faculty, staff, and students from the Indiana University's schools of dentistry, nursing, medicine, rehabilitation sciences, optometry, public health (Indiana University and Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis campuses), social work as well as Butler University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and Purdue University College of Pharmacy. Their groundwork and longstanding partnerships facilitate interprofessional education for health profession students and position Indiana University to be a national leader in interdisciplinary education. This position is ideal for a transformational leader who can build on existing strengths and work collaboratively with the leadership of different schools and centers.
