![]() University of California Los Angeles Requisition Number: 33053 Salary: $9,650 - $18,316 monthly Position Description: The mission of the Fielding School of Public Health (FSPH) is to enhance the public's health by training future leaders and health professional from diverse backgrounds, conducting innovative research, translating research into policy and practice, and serving our local communities and those of the nation and the world. As a member of the FSPH's leadership team and the UCLA Health Sciences Professional Schools external affairs team, the FSPH Assistant Dean for Development and Alumni Affairs is responsible for providing leadership, strategy, implementation and evaluation of a comprehensive development program for the school. The incumbent will manage a team of development professionals. The Assistant Dean will establish goals, objectives and coordinate strategies for major gift solicitations, fundraising events, stewardship, cultivation, solicitation and communications. The Assistant Dean will personally identify, cultivate, solicit and steward major and principal gifts and coordinate the management of active gift prospects on behalf of the Dean. In addition, the Assistant Dean is responsible for managing both the Campus External Affairs and the FSPH External Affairs budgets; provides analysis of fundraising results and strategies; works collaboratively with other members of the FSPH leadership team to plan and execute the development program for the School; works in cooperation with Campus External Affairs to integrate the School's Development efforts with the campus; and operates with a high-level of autonomy.
