Essential Functions: POSITION SUMMARY: The Assistant Director supports undergraduate and graduate students, and alumni, as they navigate their career journeys. The successful candidate will develop and facilitate career education programming, as well as 1:1 advising/coaching students and alumni.� They will work as part of the Career Development Team, and in close collaboration with Employer Relations and Communications colleagues and campus partners, to develop learning opportunities, communications, and advising to educate and empower students to establish and manage their career paths. All career advisors are generalists, working with any student or alum who needs assistance.� In addition, the Assistant Director ideally will have interest and experience working with international students, and/or under-resourced students.� We value candidates who help diversify and strengthen our existing team.� This includes interest and/or experience in sustainability, the sciences, education/teaching, non-profit/public health, communications, and technology. The individual in this position will bring stellar listening and coaching skills, facilitation/teaching abilities, and will possess strong judgment, record-keeping, and communication skills.� An interest in career development trends is important.� Project management skills and customer service orientation are both critical to success.
