![]() Division Manager Hospital Medicine Stanford University Grade: J FTE: 100% The Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Division Manager (CDM2) to provide strategic direction for the administrative and clinical related functions for the Division of Hospital Medicine. The Division's mission is serve our patients with compassionate, family-centered, and evidence-based care. The Division Manager has a challenging and rewarding job working with an exceptional group of faculty and staff in a dynamic and friendly work environment. The Division Manager oversees and manages financial and administrative affairs of the Division of Hospital Medicine consistent with standards of performance that ensure University, School, LPCH, and department business standards and objectives are met. Assist and advise the Division Chief. Ensure compliance in all functional areas (i.e., Finance, Human Resources, Research Administration, Clinical Administration, Facilities, Health & Safety, Education & Student Affairs, and Faculty Affairs) with applicable School, University, Federal, State, Local, agency, and Hospital/Clinic policies, procedures, laws, etc. Responsible for achieving the goals of both the Department and the Division through effective long-range planning, program development and administration; policy formulation; financial management; supervision of administrative staff; human resources management including health and safety compliance; and space and facilities management. The duties of this position are typically split between 70% operational and 30% strategic. Typically, responsible for operating budgets of $10 M.
