Position Function: This position coordinates a community-engagement project that involves delivering virtual mental health gatekeeper trainings. Three primary functions of the position include getting trained as a Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor and Alliance Project Instructor, scheduling and delivering virtual mental health gatekeeper trainings, and managing day-to-day activities to meet and fulfill grant obligations. Salary Grade: 13 Please see Staff Compensation Structure or Skilled Crafts and Service Maintenance Compensation Schedule for salary ranges. For salary grade UC, these positions are "Unclassified" and salary ranges are determined by the hiring department. Department Profile: The Department of Food Science, Nutrition, and Health Promotion (FSNHP) at MSU offers an undergraduate degree with concentrations in nutrition, food science, and culinology; the Master of Science degree in the three concentrations of Nutrition, Food Science, and Health Promotion; and the Doctor of Philosophy degree in Nutrition and Food Science concentrations. Both the department and MSU focus strongly on preparing graduates to excel in their chosen professions. Area of Specialization: Food Science, Nutrition, and Health Promotion Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Manage the administration of project daily. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Health Promotion, Health Education, Health Sciences, Public Health, Preferred Qualifications: * Master's or PhD in Health Promotion, Health Education, Health Sciences, Public Health, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Experience in managing projects and leading project teams.
