Advocates for Human Potential, Inc. (AHP), is seeking a Senior Program Associate to help manage projects; attend to fiscal concerns; complete project deliverables; carry out meeting, training, and technical assistance activities. The Senior Program Associate will be working with the Access to Recover (ATR) Program, a 6-month program designed for individuals who have a substance use disorder (SUD), and who are seeking support with their recovery.

Under the supervision of the ATR Program Director, this individual will support the ATR project in the following ways:

• Collaborating with the Program Director to:
  • Provide ongoing oversight of external staff and providers to ensure procedures and protocols are being followed and regularly report on findings; monitor standardization of policies and procedures across all sites.
  • Work in close collaboration with the AHP- ATR team as well as the ATR Coordination Agencies and ATR providers to resolve issues or provide support as needed.
  • Provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure providers are fulfilling audit requirements.
• Collaborating with the CBI (Career Building services) Program Manager to provide ongoing oversight and technical assistance to current CBI providers.
• Assist with onboarding new job training providers Utilize the customized electronic data system (Falling Colors) and its dashboards to access data and develop reports for quality oversight, program operations, and program development
• When safe to do so, travel to any of the cities/regions where ATR operates (Boston, New Bedford, Springfield/Holyoke, Worcester) for trainings, meetings, and conferences.
• Work with the ATR Communications Manager on contributions to newsletters, marketing materials, website, or contact lists.
• Assist with other projects as they arise, including research projects, state or federal reports, conference proposals and/or presentations

• Attends to fiscal concerns
  • Develops and manages budgets of specific tasks, including invoice approval
  • Handles Deltek planning, review, and analysis
• Completes project deliverables
  • Develops written and online materials (e.g., templates, reports, presentation slides, guidebooks, planning documents, listserv announcements, website content, online surveys)
  • Conducts in-depth research, key informant interviews, and literature reviews to support assignments
  • Creates evaluation questions and data-gathering instruments
  • Establishes measurement-based practices to evaluate outcomes
  • Compiles, summarizes, and analyzes data

• Carries out meeting, training, and technical assistance activities
• Plans meeting agenda and prepares supporting materials
• Facilitates and otherwise contributes to meetings
• Prepares formal notes of external meetings, clarifying commitments and follow-up action
• Prepares content of webinars (brainstorms topics, identifies speakers, writes learning objectives)
• Develops curriculum and training materials and manuals
• Delivers online/onsite training and education (hosts/moderates webinars, serves as subject matter expert) 
• Provides guidance to speakers on content
• Develops pre-tests and satisfaction assessments to help determine the effectiveness of training sessions
• Promotes new business
  • Co-authors proposals and external communication materials
  • Contributes to strategic marketing plans and identifies opportunities to forge partnerships
