Candidates must possess a Ph.D. degree in medicinal chemistry from an institution accredited by HLC, MSCHE, NECHE, NWCCU, SACSCOC or WSCUC, or a related degree from an accredited U.S. school of pharmacy and have a postdoctoral fellowship or relevant industry experience. Preference given to candidates who have a strong record of research/scholarship and potential for funded research. The successful candidate will have a track record of teaching and research commensurate with appointment to the rank of associate or full professor at Samford University. Academic rank and salary are dependent upon qualifications, previous teaching involvement, and research and scholarship accomplishments.
