This position reports to the Center for Occupational and Environmental Health (COEH) in the Department of Public Health Sciences. The core activities of COEH are to educate future leaders in occupational and environmental health, develop new knowledge, and bring the resources of the University of California to people affected by health hazards in their workplaces or communities. The Department of Public Health Sciences (PHS) is a large complex teaching, research, and clinical department. The mission of the Department is to improve the health of people using approaches based in epidemiology, biostatistics, economics, and behavioral science through research, educational programs, clinical programs, public service, and policy development. THIS IS NOT AN H1- B OPPORTUNITY Responsibilities The Digital Communication Specialist 3 functions as a leadership role for the Web Design Component of the CDPH Website and under supervision of UCD and the general direction of the Lead Officer within the Internal Communications Web Team within the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Office of Public Affairs (OPA), the Digital Communication Specialist 3 develops digital communications, including web content development and website design, and produces communications or instructions using the web, audio, video, and other digital media, which may involve content creation, designing, production and/or programming.
