Our Electrophysiology Lab is just as innovative with CARTO, EP Med System, ESI Mapping, Watchman, PVI ablations and many other clinical modalities improving patients' lives. Job Summary: Under general supervision, the Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist is responsible for ensuring safe procedures are carried out in the delivery of cardiac services to patients. Analyzes uses and cares for all technical equipment and supplies and produces and maintains accurate records and reports as necessary. The Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist will scrub and assist the physician with cardiac Cath, angioplasty, stenting, pacemakers and peripheral procedures. The Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist will be competent in hemodynamic monitoring and arrhythmia recognition. Position also includes rotation of on call for emergent procedures. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Arrhythmia recognition; normal/abnormal hemodynamic response recognition; ability to operate all equipment related to Cath lab procedures; ability to set up and calculate various medications with different routes of administration; ability to perform all aspects of recording, scrubbing, and monitoring for Cath lab procedures. Education: High School Diploma or GED Certificate. Experience: Two years' Cath lab experience. Credentials: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist (RCIS) or RT(R) certification or one of those obtained within one year of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required. All Certifications and Licenses required for this job must be kept current as a condition of continued employment.
