Department SCHOOL OF NURSING (IN-NURS-IUINA) Job Summary The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) will manage all aspects of a NIH, NINR-funded clinical behavioral research study in the IU School of Nursing. The CRC will assign and coordinate activities of the study to ensure protocol, regulatory, standard operating procedures (SOP), and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) compliance. Duties and responsibilities include:
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in science or a health-related field and two years of clinical research experience; OR associate degree in science or a health-related field and three years of clinical research experience. Combinations of education and related experience may be considered. Knowledge of human subject research and the basic principles of accurate ethical data collection. Proficiency using word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation programs. Experience with e-mail and electronic calendaring. Basic navigation in web/internet-based applications. Ability to demonstrate judgement, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications Clinical Research Certification (ARCP or SOCRA). Master's degree in public health, nursing science, or related field. Knowledge of university systems (time keeping, data extraction, report writing, databases), and of university policies and procedures. Familiarity with medical settings, records and terminology.
