THIS IS NOT AN H1- B OPPORTUNITY Responsibilities THIS IS A FULL TIME CONTRACT POSITION based in Richmond, CA with an end date of June 30, 2021 and the potential of extending into a career position. This position will telecommute and require travel within California. The position reports to the Center for Occupational and Environmental Health (COEH) within the Department of Public Health. Under the supervision of UC Davis and the general direction of the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Center for Health Care Quality (CHCQ), Healthcare Associated Infections Program (HAI) the Infection Preventionist's responsibilities include performing as a liaison and consultant on infection prevention in Northern/Central/Southern California to support statewide geographic coverage. In conjunction with role as liaison and consultant, the Infection Preventionist will travel to facilities to assist with the use of Healthcare Associated Infection (HAI) data management. In response to the current COVID19 pandemic, the Infection Preventionist will be highly involved in the CHCQ emergency response effort. Required Qualifications
