The Coordinating Centers for Biometric Research (CCBR) within the Division of Biostatistics, School of Public Health, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN carries out large scale international clinical trials and epidemiological studies funded by the National Institutes of Health. Current work includes studies for the treatment of COVID-19, influenza, Ebola, and HIV. Over the last 40 years, our studies have impacted public health policies and treatment guidelines around the world. The CCBR provides statistical leadership, data management, regulatory support, and overall operational leadership to several collaborative research efforts, the largest being an international clinical trials group called INSIGHT. We work with investigators around the world on study design, protocol development, data collections plans, data analysis and publication of research findings.
