The Department of Health Services has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Research Coordinator to work with the Health Promotion Research Center (HPRC), one of 26 Prevention Research Centers funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other research projects within the department. This position will coordinate research activities for a newly awarded Special Interest Project (SIP) grant from the Centers of Disease Control (CDC) on the Validity and Reliability of Cancer Screening Questions for the National Health Interview Survey (NHIS) (SIP 20-005). This will include conducting and analyzing results from cognitive interviews with a diverse population of research participants. In addition, the position will support data collection and analysis for the Amigas Latinas Motivando el Alma study of mental health among Latina immigrant women. Due to the study population and this position’s role as an interviewer, candidates must be fluent in English and Spanish.
