Position Summary: Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey is seeking a motivated Postdoctoral Fellow for the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology within the School of Public Health. This is a joint project with New Jersey Department of Health NJDOH). Under the supervision of a Biostatistics Faculty member at Rutgers School of Public Health, this post-doctoral fellow position will work on the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) funded New Jersey State Biomonitoring Program (NJSBM). This NJSBM project is sponsored by New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH) and directed by the Director of Environmental Chemistry Laboratory Services at NJDOH. The post-doctoral fellow will conduct the research activities for three biomonitoring projects developed for the NJSBM, including NJ population study, NJ prenatal exposure study for toxic metals, and exposure to environmental toxic chemicals through dry blood spot investigation and autism health effects. Specifically, this fellow will perform data management, conduct data analysis, maintain the NJSBM website and assist in NJHANES field work (e.g., subject recruitment, questionnaire survey, collection of specimens from participating homes, and coordination). This position will also support other biomonitoring projects activities, such as community outreach, education, report and article preparation, and presentation at scientific conferences.
